Weekend away during Ascension

If you choose to get away for a weekend in Germany during Ascension, Hambachtal offers you the option of a two-person apartment or a bungalow for four or six persons. The apartments offer a kitchenette with a microwave, a water heater, a coffee machine and a refrigerator including a freezer compartment. This way, you will get to enjoy a delicious home-made meal on the balcony. The comfortable apartment features a private bathroom including floor heating as well as a shower, a toilet and a sink.

Do you plan to visit our park with more than two persons during the Ascension weekend? If so, you can choose between a bungalow for four or six persons, coming in both the basic and comfort types. The comfort bungalows have recently been renovated and equipped with modern facilities including a dishwasher in the kitchen, a flat screen TV in the living room and a completely new interior. You will enjoy a great night's rest at all of the bungalows thanks to the comfortable beds, and each bungalow offers a terrace with garden furniture. This way, you will get to enjoy the sunshine during the Ascension weekend away.

What to do during the Ascension weekend?

The number one activity during Ascension is, of course, the early morning spring outing. For this reason, we highly recommend exploring the area of the magnificent and hilly by bicycle. Another great option is the Eifelpark in Gondorf, reachable in just under an hour by car. You will enjoy some exciting adventures in the rides and meet all kinds of animals during a visit to this park. Which animal is your favorite? But it goes without saying that you won't have to leave our bungalow park in Germany if you don't want to. You and your family can enjoy a game of bowling, tennis or miniature golf during your Ascension weekend away. There's no lack of sportive activities! Would you prefer a little more relaxation? Use our wellness facilities as well as the subtropical swimming pool. And when you don't feel like cooking, you are more than welcome at our restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal.
